Club Events at Sagamore-Hampton

Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club offers some fun Club Tournaments every year for our GHIN Members to take part in --- Check out our Club Tournament schedule below, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or inquiries!

The Sagamore Cup / June 25th & 26th 2022

This event is one of our most anticipated each year with huge bragging rights on the line! The Sagamore Cup showcases a 14-player team from each Sagamore course (Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club & Sagamore Spring Golf Club) competing against each other in a super-fun weekend event, much like the renowned 'Ryder Cup' matches! Below are the details:

• The 2022 Sagamore Cup matches are scheduled for Saturday, June 25th & Sunday, June 26th

• 6/25 matches will be hosted at Sagamore Spring Golf Club (Lynnfield, MA)

• 6/26 matches will be hosted at Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club

• SHGC Qualifying notes (read carefully):

  • SHGC Qualifying will take place from May 22nd thru June 20th, 2021

  • Open to all active Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club GHIN Members

  • Players may attempt as many qualifying rounds as they choose (normal greenfees apply)

  • Players are responsible for booking their own tee-times

  • Players must play their qualifying round with at least one other SHGC qualifying participant

  • Players must turn in their signed and attested score card immediately after their round (to our Clubhouse staff)

  • 18-hole scores are required

  • We'll be hosting a fun celebratory BBQ & Cup presentation following Sunday's (6/26) matches at Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club!

• Tournament Costs:

  • For each qualifying attempt players pay for greenfees only (no additional cost)

  • Those qualifiers who make the final team of 14 will pay a $120 Tournament Fee (which covers 2-days of golf, golf car, Adidas team golf shirt & BBQ dinner)

The R.D. Luff Club Championship / August 6th & 7th 2022

Our annual Club Championship is a fun, competitive event that's open to all active SHGC GHIN Members!

• Qualifying notes:

  • ​Open Qualifying will take place from July 1st thru July 31st, 2022

  • Qualifying players must be active Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club GHIN Members

  • Qualifying players may attempt as many qualifying rounds as they choose

  • Qualifying players are responsible for booking their own tee-times

  • Qualifying players must play their qualifying round with at least one other SHGC qualifying participant

  • Qualifying players must turn in their signed and attested score card immediately after their round (to our Clubhouse staff)

  • 18-hole scores are required

  • Rounds played outside of the qualifying period will not be accepted

• The championship will feature a Men's Gross & Net Division, as well as a Ladies Net Division

  • MEN: The seven low gross qualifiers will be selected first, followed by the seven low net qualifiers

  • LADIES: Qualifying spots dependent upon participation

• 2021 Champions will be the automatic #1 seeds in each division

• Qualifying & Championship Costs:

  • Qualifying Rounds: Normal 18-hole greenfees apply for every attempt

  • Championship Rounds:

    • August 6th (Special reduced $25 greenfees)

    • August 7th (Complimentary greenfees)
